Allen Bradley cyber attacks from Iran

Most of you know what happen to Pauls customer so this is saying he’s not the only one

I was wondering why they would put in the effort to make the changes but not put it in run mode but now thinking maybe they weren’t done… Maybe they are planning on flipping the switch on several at one time to get some sort of panic reactions?

I just listened to a podcast about a device called a superbox, which is a streaming box that gives you access to pretty much all streaming content (movies, shows, etc.). Turns out, it is just a malware box that does some absolutely diabolical things. For example, will spam devices on your network until they drop, then switch its mac and IP address to mimic the device to see what kind of data it can steal. One thing they mentioned is how they specifically look for PLC’s and SCADA systems (amongst many other things).

I know a few people that own them. These things are sold at walmart and best buy.

I only have 3 smart devices in my house (2 thermostats and a smart plug that triggers an input on my home automation system) along with 2 TV’s that are not connected to the network unless I REALLY want to stream something. (So far that’s about once every 3 years, almost all DVD watching here)

On my router I setup a guest network, with password, and blocked that from accessing my home network.

That way no one at the Chinese smart plug company, or LG, or Amazon, can get in a backdoor and snoop around my network.

My WiFi security cameras are connected to an old router that is offline only, so they can’t stream to the server they really want to send my video to.

And, no Ring camera’s because if they are offline Amazon put in a Ring network where they will connect to your neighbors Ring devices and have the video streamed through them - and my too-close next door neighbor has 2 visible Ring cameras.

Also, I signed up for a utility saver program with one of the thermostats and for that I got a free Google Home speaker. I checked into that and have never opened the box - lots worse than Alexa’s spying.

Darknet Diaries is a great podcast, I’m a bit behind at the moment, probably have 15 unlisted to episodes. I’ll have to try and catch up, this one sounds pretty interesting

The FBI, ODEQ and CISA are now involved in my incident. I am not sure what they can do about it other than try to justify their existence. I don’t see Kash Patel parachuting into Tehran any time soon. The CISA guy wants to set up a call. I sent him my compare tool report and a brief explanation, but I haven’t been able to schedule a time for the call he needs.

Where’s my Deep State Museum? I was promised a museum. If we’d stay the fock out of the middle east and stop bombing little girls and financing Rothchild’s fake country, there would be no need for a dozen of these enemy-of-the-people agencies.

Maybe they will make a movie about it… and how you saved the town (you know, movie exaggerating) if I am portrayed I want the Rock playing me

I want Rex Kwon Do to play me. Not the actor Diedrich Bader, the character.

One thing I’m a little surprised about Paul is how open you’ve been about it. Well, not that you specifically are open about it, generally organizations immediately tell everyone to keep quiet.

People once told me I look like Mike Rowe, but that was a few years and pounds ago. Now I am the spitting image of Donnie Baker (RIP).

Well if we are being honest… the reason I started working out again was because I started looking more like Ralphie May than the Rock but just not sure how the “cyber attacks” turned into this

If I’m ever in a movie for during my married years I want a Liberace impersonator to portray me - just because the ex hated him and it will piss her off to be shown married to him.

If after I got out of that hell, I’d like Fabio, but without any roller coaster scenes

In ran into the guy that has the superbox and suggested he listen to the episode. He basically said “Ah, I don’t care, they all have my information anyway, what do I care?”.

Wow… thats the issue with us, why would you be ok with people knowing anything about you?

Not to make this political but I am a fan of a small government and nobody telling me what I need. I hate people knowing anything about me.

Yeah, nothing good can come out of your data being mined. The thing is, comparing what the superbox is accused of doing and what companies like google/facebook/etc do is a very false equivalence. They’re not in the same league or even the same sport.

The thing seems to be pure malware. Not only that, it is running a very bad version of Android and doesn’t seem to be secured in any way. So it’s essentially open to anyone else to hack into it with well known exploits. It has Teamviewer installed and had Android Debug Bridge running, no password needed for root access.

“As long as I get to watch my sports, they can have my data”.

AND… the worst part, “they can have my data becuase I am to cheap to pay for my sports”
