They just made the “the dark side of the moon" and now on the way back… couple of thoughts
Very cool
The earth gravitational pull is so strong, they slowed to 900 miles an hour, they will hit around 24k without firing the engines
The earth looked so small, I would of thought it would look much bigger

The earth IS small.
From my home planet it can’t be seen clearly, just one little pixel on a high res photo.
Speaking of small… this is a cool site, anyone with kids its a must, but you will have many questions to answer

I don’t know if you troll around TikTok, but you wouldn’t believe the amount of flat-earther posts since right after liftoff ‘proving’ Artemis II is a hoax (mostly based on it launched on April 1st, not waiting until the 2nd, but some saying they wouldn’t have wasted time on a “real” spaceflight fixing a toilet)
Its really amazing how stupid people can be, I was waiting for them to see the alien spaceship on the back side of the moon

No, no, no.
The alien spacecraft are Inside the moon, the only thing you could see on the far side are the giant doors inside a few craters. And that mile high pillar or obelisk thingy.
LOL, yep that’s the ticket!
I watched the splash down. Reminded me of Apollo 11, our next door neighbor had a color TV, we only had B&W. So..we went over to watch the recovery on their TV. I was nine years old.
My grandmother, from that point forward, always blamed the bad weather on the Apollo 11 mission. Hurricane Camille comes to mind.
I was nine at the first Apollo moon landing, and up north camping. Someone brought a TV with them and half the campground huddled around a 12”B&W TV.
I was disappointed because when it took off to return to the orbiter I was thinking the rocket blast would be visible and couldn’t see it.
I also remember then that was when I decided I wanted to move to the moon and wished they could still go there and set up a colony so I could - darn moon-people telling them to never come back or earth would suffer the consequences, so they stopped all moon flights.
I wonder if Artemis II was a scanning to see if the moon-people are still there or it’s safe to return?
